Definitely the biggest reason that people do not workout is, simply put: time. Who has it? Have you ever not made time to eat? Not made time to stop and get gas? Not made to sleep? Well, fitness MUST become that type of priority to you. Everyone has the same 24 hours per day, and for the most part, we have to bust our tails to do things that we enjoy. We like to work hard, love to spend time with our kids and loved ones and like to stay ahead at work.
You will NEVER find time. Trust me – right now, I train roughly 12-14 hours per day (it’s 1:34 right now and I’ve been here since 5:30am, and still have more clients today). I have a son. I am my own manager, marketing director, accountant, I cook, I clean, and have other responsibilities. But I make the time to exercise, and for me, it’s 3-5 hours per week. That’s it – 3-5 hours for the entire week.
I challenge you to stop looking for time and to MAKE time to become a better you. You WILL respond to exercise: you’ll become more alert, more aware, more productive. You’ll lose weight. You WILL look and feel better. You’ll live longer and have a better quality of life, which gives you more time to enjoy your children and significant other.
The choice is yours… Will you (not can you) make time?
